camera rigging
Wanting to produce an interactive map, I needed to create a map through a walk first. I chose to do a circuit around the street in my local area. On the walk, I took a blue tarp, my Mum and a camera connected to a pole. On the walk, specific locations were chosen for their unique landscape formations. At these locations, I would look at Google street view, to ascertain the angle at which they had documented the site. Then my Mum stood in that location, (generally in the middle of the road) and I interacted with the physical site using my body atop the blue tarp. In processing, the trap was removed, and I superimposed myself into the google street view image, creating an intersection of the present through a prompt of the digital past
