panic /

situation / process / documentation

panic / response is a situation based work that aimed to document the panic-buying that occurred at the beginning of the c-19 outbreak. Influenced by Patrick Keiller's film 'London', I wanted to explore the role of the narrater as  one who produces works that are related contexutally, but disconnected visually. this is done by creating a factual document which prompts a fictional response, giving a 'specifically different perspective on the real'

re-animation

digital processing / re-animation / compression

In order to share my narration, I decided to process the work for online consumption. My storyboard format was too large for digital platforms, so the images needed to be cut and re-animated into an accelerated, infinite 5-second clip.
